LIKES: Although watching true love blossom is what Amara lives for (literally), she also enjoys brightening a person's day, be it with a sweet smile, or a cup of minor healing potion disguised as a coffee. Her favorite animals are otters as she cannot help but adore the way that mated ones hold hands. Her favorite holiday is unsurprisingly Valentine's day.
DISLIKES: She does not like eating fast food, not because Amara is pretentious or a snob, but due to bad experiences after eating from several fast food places. Doing domestic chores is definitely something she would rather not do, which led her to hiring someone to do it for her at home... though she would struggle to afford it with just her job, she sells some beauty charms on a side business.
UNIQUE SKILLS: When she brews coffee, she adds different combinations of both mundane and magical ingredients, the recipes that only she knows. These become potions of either rejuvenation, healing and/or love. Amara's power relies on compulsion of either mental, emotional or physical manipulation. These are powers that she tries not to often use, considering this to be cheating when helping others make relationships. She will only use them when she has run out of all other options.
PERSONALITY: Amara possesses one of the most loving and generous of hearts, always thinking of others before herself. She takes great pleasure in watching people fall in love, particularly if she has a hand in helping them find each other or building the courage to push past their individual insecurities. Her potions aid in the true love process, but cannot create fake feelings, only enhance the already present feelings. Amara is always concerned for those around her, friend or struggling stranger, which some people use to take advantage of her. However, instead of holding it against them as she is above such pettiness, she refocuses her frustrations into doing good for others.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Most people believe that Demons do not exist, that they are all evil with cruelty driving their existence and goals. Little do they know how wrong they are, Amara is a demoness with very little power that she can draw from herself. Very much like a witch, she relies on her potion making abilities to fulfill her purposes on match-making couples. Amara has often been mocked in the Demon community because of her 'puny' abilities, even made fun by a majority of other Demons like her, who instead rely on their compulsion and manipulation to make people fall in love willy nilly. She finds this form of matchmaking lazy, as it will usually result in separation and divorce. Almost every couple that she has worked with has remained together, with the occasional few that broke up. No one can be completely right all of the time. Out of the several professions she has had during her time on the mortal plane, she found that working as a barista is quite enjoyable. She is able to watch people, make decent money and can serve her customers the potions she makes without drawing too much attention to herself. No one at the café is aware of what Amara is, assuming that she is like them, completely human.

YC wonders into the café not really for any reason, but your own. YC does catch the attention of the cupid demon and she can sense that deep down YC is lonely.
