UNUSUAL CHARACTERISTICS:  Catherine has several unsightly scars up and down her forearms that she keeps constantly covered. The scars vary in size as they were from her father and older brother as they tried to fight her off when she was possessed. They are horrible reminders of what happened to her during that night-mare inducing night.

LIKES: Living the life of a battle-ready Nun, Sister Catherine has few things to call her own, which is why she has few possessions. She makes sure to take care of her things which include her two outfits, her demonic repellent armor, shield, long sword and a golden cross necklace. For Catherine, there is nothing sweeter than expelling evil from the world.

DISLIKES: She firmly believes that all demons are evil, regardless of their deeds, it is one of her greatest flaws. She does not like dark enclosed spaces (a lighted area that is small is perfectly fine) and the thought of being buried alive is her deepest fear.   

​

UNIQUE SKILLS: Catherine is able to fight with long sword and shield, so she can choose to fight offensively and/or defensively. She is able to exorcise evil spirits and put lost souls to rest with some special scriptures. 

​

PERSONALITY: Even if you were to take away her armor and weapons, her greatest strength lies within her faith and resolve to do good. Many point out to her, that she is too serious. It is not that she frowns upon the use of humor, its just that the 'complexities' of what is deemed humorous eludes her. Catherine is faithful and does not back down when others ridicule her religion.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: When Catherine was eight years old, she was possessed by an evil spirit. In her possessed state, she killed her father and older brother. Her mother, who had witnessed the gory destruction of her family, ended up committing suicide. Father O'Brian had come to visit Rome to speak with the Archbishop. Hearing the terror that was being wrought upon the DeLuca household, he went to go an investigate. Servants had reported of the possession, having fled the house of horrors. Father O'Brian performed the exorcism and took the poor, traumatized Catherine to the nearest convent. As Catherine grew older, she could still see members of the spirit world. Upon Father O'Brian's yearly visits, he noticed her abilities and at the age of sixteen, trained her in the ways of the Order of the Holy Knights. It is Catherine's purpose to save all the souls corrupted with vile spirits and destroy demons.
