LIKES: Pielle loves eating blueberries, especially the very small ones as they are the juiciest. Whenever she is bored, she enjoys braiding her hair with small blue flowers, the more intricate the braid, the happier she is. She has a skill with playing the flute and listening to other forms of music, a skill that she picked up during her journey. Like other woodland fairies Pielle has a weakness for shiny objects, often becoming distracted them.
DISLIKES: Whenever her size is commented on it makes her self conscious since she is so much larger than what she is used to be being. Her inability to fly for longer than fifteen minutes at a time ((during the beginning of the RP)). When she was small, Pielle could fly all the time, but at this new weight, the atmosphere makes it difficult. She has a deep fear of being underground, she will start to panic when she is trapped beneath the earth.
WEAPON: Sword and a small dagger.
UNIQUE SKILLS: Sword fighting, Root whip (roots rip from the earth beneath to entangle and thrash her enemies) and invisibility (for a short time, depending on how bright the sun is).
PERSONALITY: Like many of her kind she is not above playing tricks on those she deems to be foolish. Even though Pielle often complains about her new height, she does not generally complain about much else. She is easy going and free spirited, fighting for causes she believes will benefit others. Due to her entire life being spent in her territory, she can be very clueless of the outside world. She can also be naive about the affairs of the heart. Woodland fairies do not mate for purposes outside of breeding for the next generation. Never having mated before, she is unaware that it can be done for pleasure or to show love.
GENERAL BACKGROUND: Woodland fairies are very small, easily fitting in the palm of a human hand. Unlike others of their kind, woodland fairies live much shorter lives, the oldest recorded woodland fairy being only twenty three human years of age. Many would view them mostly as pests, since they enjoy playing tricks and harassing the intruders of their territory. Pielle was like any other Woodland fairy, but unlike the others who were content and happy to live their short lives in the meadow, she wished to explore the world before she died. However, the world was too dangerous for her small size. This would change when a haggard old woman stumbled into the meadow. The woodland fairies chased the old woman away, not caring that she was sick with fever. Pielle could not help but feel sorry for the poor human and told her friends off for their behavior. She guided the old woman to the river so she could drink from it and cool her fever. The woman was grateful, but in her feverish mind, placed a unintentional spell on Pielle. 'Your heart is too big for such a small body, let it grow big' and then stumbled back into the woods to go and find her house. Pielle watched her go, her heart happy to have helped, only to suddenly blacked out. When she awoke, she found that although she was still a fairy, she was now a giant of a fairy.
