LIKES: Iris loves a good deal and will search through all the coupons and fliers so she can to find the lowest price for items she wants to buy. She loves to find unique jewelry, anywhere from earrings shaped like dancing fairies to phases-of-the-moon chokers. She has a weakness for sexy, cute and nerdy clothing, which she enjoys to wear in interesting combinations (like the one in her picture). Iris loves to travel to exotic places whenever she is presented with the chance to do so.

DISLIKES: She now has a sensitivity to cold foods, which make her sluggish and sleepy, same thing with hot and spicy foods making her over active. Iris is greatly afraid of rodents and will freeze in fear when she sees one. The snake instincts that she has thankfully spared her the want to be anywhere near a rodent. Although Iris will spend good money on stuff that she loves, she can be annoyed when she spends more than she budgeted on certain things, such as foods or household items.

UNIQUE SKILLS: Iris can transform from a human to a lamia when she puts on her ring and back when she removes it. When she is in her lamia form she is able to use her powerfully strong tail as a constrictive force. She is able to produce a venom that can paralyze a grown man for six hours.

PERSONALITY: Iris is a woman who does not care if she sticks out in a crowd, either from her outfits, her hair, cosmetics or jewelry. She is unfazed by the hate comments she receives from people who feel they have a right to judge her lifestyle, with her usual response being to flip them off with a smile. She cares about her partner and friends.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Both of her parents were artists and always encouraging their equally artistic child to strive for the stars. Iris was raised to be who she was and not allow people to dictate how she should be. She has a great relationship with them and calls them every other day when she gets the opportunity. Having developed her mother's thrifty tendencies, she is always able to save for trips to such places as New Zealand, Japan, Ireland and even India. It was on one of her trips that she came across a street vender that she found a ring that would forever change her life. It was a golden band with an intricately cut design of scales. Once she put it on, it bonded with her skin, connecting with her in such a way that it could transform her human body into that a snake woman, or lamia. It is only through the removal of the ring that she can take human form. The vendor, who is a Chaos Dispenser from an alternate dimension reveals to Iris that she must wear the ring for a minimum of 9 hours a day, or else be subjected to blood poisoning. Of course, although this is shocking news, Iris is not afraid of what has happened to her. Instead, she embraces this new aspect of herself, even if she keeps it a secret from the world at large.
