UNUSUAL CHARACTERISTICS: Permanent tattoos of vertical wine colored marks adorn her cheeks, four in total. The two upper marks just under her eyes symbolize her social status, the two lower ones show that she is a favorite child of the king. The tattoos are painted on at the age of sixteen, as it is believed that if a royal child lives past this age they deserve their place in their father's palace.

LIKES: She loves to help design her outfits and is good friends with the seamstress, usually trading ideas and opinions about the fabrics, adornment and colors. Playing music in front of an audience is always a favorite past time, although she always saves her most vulnerable songs for close family and friends. She does love her family and extended family too, but is most fond of her youngest sister who is her 'full blooded' sister as they share both the same biological father and mother. Her jaguar, Vahi, is her most valued treasure as she raised him from the time he was a cub.
DISLIKES: People assuming she is an air-headed princess whose only interest lies in her appearance, her jewels and being served all day. Granted, many of her sisters, mother and her mother's sister brides act this way, it does not mean that she focuses on such things. Jahir does not like men who think she is someone who will submit to them because of status or gender.
UNIQUE SKILLS: As most females of her status, she learned countless dances and the playing of various instruments, such as the castanets. She has a keen eye for clothing design, which she incorporates when creating outfits for her dances.
PERSONALITY: Jahira appears to many as a haughty female. Having grown up always being put on display, she projects a sense of entitlement. However, when not on display, she is relaxed and affectionate with her jaguar pets and sisters. Jahira will not hide her contempt for her mother and the other wives of her father, believing them to be weak for always easily bowing down, without argument. She detests weakness especially in herself.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: She is the third born daughter of seventeen siblings (four boys and thirteen girls). She is often viewed as one of her father's favorites as she is so much like him in personality. She will not inherit anything as her older brothers and younger brother are in line to inherit the throne and their kingdom. However, she will continue to live at the palace (currently allowed to be unmarried while her father lives) as her father could not bare to lose his favorite daughter. For now she is content, until she uncovers a plot by her eldest brother to remove their father from power. When her brother learns of her knowledge through his network of spies, he seeks a way to silence her.
