LIKES: Naps are her number one love, all she needs is a sunlit open space, preferably outdoors. She likes to experience various things in her new humanoid form, even though she may struggle with certain things, such as eating with utensils. Kat prefers to wear the color black, finding that clothing of another color looks unnatural on her.
DISLIKES: The judgments that humans pass on what they do not understand. In addition, she does not like being called negative sounding names. Kat does not like being told what to do, and is not afraid to hiss at her offender.
PERSONALITY: She is a curious kitty and very affectionate to those that try to take care of her. She does not understand the need that humans have for personal space, and often invades these boundaries unless she is met with hostility (such as sneaking under the covers with her caretaker). Kat can get scrappy with those that invade the area she deems as her territory; be it place, thing or person.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Kat was the fourth generation familiar to the Emerald Witch Cerila, descended from a line of felines whose linage can be traced to familiars of the First Great Witch Coven. Cerila ended up developing an allergy to cats, but was fiercely proud of owning a familiar with such a prestigious pedigree. So the older Witch made her feline a human...well human enough. As a Neko, Kat does not aggravate her owner's allergies, and is able to continue working for Cerila. Life as a familiar can be pretty boring however, especially since Cerila is getting older and less enthused about practicing magic. Kat often sneaks away to either find a good place to nap somewhere new or to find something more interesting to occupy her time with. She often wonders if she will always be a Neko, or if she will be turned back into a cat or become fully human. Caught between two worlds can be lonely, as people fear she is a cursed human or that she is a demon. Out of the two species, cats are the more friendly and accepting group, but still view her more as a person than feline. She has a combination of human and feline urges that can often war with each other or enhance certain needs, such as times when she comes into heat. Despite the issues that Kat faces somewhat daily, she is an affectionate and sweet individual, who wishes to enjoy what life brings her.
