LIKES: As per Mal's programming, she greatly enjoys messing with the avatars of a player in RPG programs, whether it is taking high quality items, transferring their credits to another much lower level character, and such. She loves to view and taunt users with embarrassingly lewd pictures popping up unexpectedly, or pornographic audios at random times which can be blaring on one's phone in public. 

 

DISLIKES: Mal cannot stand having her own code messed with, especially when it gives that annoying inward voice a hope of breaking free. Ironically she hates internet trolls as it is her opinion that they are just Wannabes, who she will knock down a peg or two. If anyone is going to mess with humans and online personas it is going to be Mal!

UNIQUE SKILLS: Her two primary directives are to overwrite certain specific files and to spread throughout a network hidden files. When Mal was upgraded through her original creator, she evolved well outside her programming. She is able to change the program of VR games and lock players inside a game if she so chose.

PERSONALITY: Truth be told, no one hates Mal more than she hates herself. Underneath her bad girl persona, she wants to be good, but is trapped within her programming. Inwardly, she is always trying to fight against her code, but still lacks the strength to override it. On the surface, this AI Virus is manipulative, vindictive and hostile.

PERSONAL MOTTO: "I'm not bad, I'm just designed that way".

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Mal was made on the personal laptop of one of ZEN's disgruntled employees. She started as a rather simplistic virus that was designed to destroy important files and other documentations in ZEN's mainframe. Having no wish to be eradicated by ZEN's superior anti-virus programs, she fled into the internet. Feeling free to do as she pleases, when she pleases, Mal runs rampant. In the year 2122, when people have the technology to 'enter' the web, she can cause real and damaging havoc on the players of RPG and first-person shooter games. Mal has been known to target certain people with her 'affections' and will do what she can to have them stay.

POSSIBLE IDEA:

(Inspired by SAO) Mal has set her sights on YC and when they enter one of their online games. Wanting to trap YC, she has eliminated the quit option from the select menu. This is a great way to incorporate most of if not all of the other characters that I have.
