LIKES: One of the biggest perks is the discount she gets as a manager of the Pokemon Frantic Fantasy Shop, which is about eighteen percent off. Pokemon is her top favorite thing to study and discuss, especially strategies for building a well balanced team, as well as Pokemon featuring in video games, movies, music and fan art. She is a big fan of anime, especially 'cute' anime with characters who have animal-like characteristics and everything turns out perfect in the end.

DISLIKES: She is not a fan of vegan foods, which some people try to force her to eat, her oldest sister being one of the main culprits of this crim. Opal does not like when her fandom (Pokemon dress up) is made fun of, not even in a clever meme, she can often be very defensive about the subject. She is highly allergic to consuming Magikarp and Goldeen.

PERSONALITY: Generally a sweet girl who is very confident in who she is and what her interests are. Opal can be very vocal in her opinions, which can get on people's nerves as she can go on and on for long periods of time. Opal is very playful, sometimes resulting will include taking things too far (for example if she is told to stop tickling, she will continue to do so).

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Opal grew up as the middle child of an overly large family (five sisters and two brothers). As a child, she was very shy and quiet, often feeling like she could not be heard as she was always surrounded by so many. She would always draw designs of costumes based on her favorite Pokemon. Upon the discovery of other Pokemon fanatics who dress up to mimic their favorite creatures, Opal found a fandom that she could fully immerse herself in. She developed her sewing and decal skills, and upon being hired as a costume store clerk, blossomed in her field. Amazingly, she was promoted to manager within a few short months. Under the table, she passes her commissioning business cards to various customers. Opal has become quite popular and is hoping to open her own chain of shops and even be featured in Pokemon Fashion. At the moment Opal does not have a Pokemon partner, as she is still on the search for one. She wants to find one that will help inspire her.

 

POSSIBLE IDEA: 

 

There is a wonderful convention that is held every three years in the Kalos region that everyone enjoys going to, it features all champions and all of the gym leaders, well as live events, workshops and contests. Opal offered to go and set up shop at the convention so that they would be able to drum up extra business and advertise. Apparently YC is setting up a booth too, that happens to be in the same spot as Opal's. With the confusion, the two of you kinda get on the wrong foot and Opal becomes determined to fix that wide gap once she has come to her senses. How will she accomplish that?
