LIKES: Although one might not think it possible at first glance, she loves popular pop songs and even Disney songs with plenty of feel good emotions and dancing beats. Rayne likes to people watch, finding hidden gems of goodness in a world that showcases mostly drama and self-concern. This young woman likes to record her thoughts, feelings and concerns in journals that she keeps locked up in her dresser. She likes to keep her privacy and will show great annoyance when it is invaded.
DISLIKES: Wearing conventional outfits makes this woman feel controlled and pressured to be what others expect her to be, that because she is quiet and reserved outwardly, that she should be a traditional woman. Although she appears calm and cool on the outside, she has had issues in the past about people believing her to be heartless. That because Rayne does not act with anger or express sympathy in a way that others can see, that she lacks basic human connection and emotion. She just doesn't need everyone to see what she is feeling for her emotions to be validated.
UNIQUE SKILLS: Paralysis Inducement; where she can freeze or immobilize someone with a fifty foot radius. She can easily affect up to three people without issue, but the more she has to focus on the harder it becomes and the faster her energy drains up.
PERSONALITY: Outwardly Rayne can be considered insouciant by her peers and the teaching staff. Basically she is not one to outwardly show her emotion, a result of the abuse she suffered through as a child and young adult. Do not allow people to see your emotions and inner conflicts because they will only use it against you. She is solitary by nature, not to say that she does not enjoy spending time with friends, but she prefers to be off on her own and doing her own thing.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Her step-father was abusive towards her, especially after her mother passed away and he was 'saddled with her'. Rayne's father was not in the picture, in fact she did not have any idea who he was, and so she was trapped, being cared for by a man who hated her. Rayne developed her powers much later in life than most Meta humans. She was seventeen when it happened... Joe Wallace was choking her in their living room and she managed to kick him between the legs, something that infuriated the man more. With murder in his eyes, he grabbed a kitchen knife and went after her. She immobilized him with her hands held in front of her and she stared up into his eyes, his body frozen with the knife held up. Rayne made a decision to leave and for the next year lived in and out of hostels, basically wherever she could find a place to sleep. She was approached by one elderly Meta human that told her of a school in the states called the Academy of Supers. With the recommendation, she was accepted and made sure to train hard. Rayne never wanted to be at the mercy of another person again or idly stand by as the same thing happened to someone else. She works hard to prove to others and herself that she is strong in her own way. She does not look for glory, but for inner peace.
POSSIBLE IDEA:
Within the walls of the Academy of Supers, a plot has been hatching along some of the students who have never been able to feel like Supers. Instead, they having been working on converting others to their cause to 'take' over the school. To change it in a place of soldiers dedicated to the cause of enslaving regular humans. YC and Rayne has overheard the plot while working on a project in the library and know that they need to do something. Only the school staff ignore the warning, so now both Rayne and YC need to take care of figuring out a way to stop this 'uprising'.
