OCCUPATION: Hero Apprentice currently at the Academy of Supers.

LIKES: Taliyah loves to listen to music, especially songs that have a touch of sadness. One of her favorite songs is 'Waving through a Window' from the Musical Dear Evan Hansen. Taliyah loves to walk through Jasper park, especially at dawn, as the animals seem to be the most active. When no one else is around she catches up with the animals as they chatter about the activities they have done that day. Sure they do alot of the same thing everyday, but it does not stop her from enjoying the conversation.

DISLIKES: Winter is her least favorite of all seasons as it makes her feel the most isolated, since all her animal friends are either hibernating to conserve energy, or have migrated. Being Earth conscious, Taliyah tries not to leave a large carbon foot print, preferring to walk or ride her bike everywhere as much as can. She keeps reusable items such as metal straws, containers and water bottle in her backpack when she goes out. For course, she is not a fan of litter bugs and will make a point of picking something when someone has discarded it on the ground. She might not be super vocal or confronting, but she does care about her planet.

UNIQUE SKILLS: Ability to communicate with animals, and even with some concentration, insects as well. She can create bonds with certain animals and draw on their strengths and abilities through the bond (an example; squirrel's ability to balance in an extremely high place, or the sight of an eagle).

PERSONALITY: Taliyah is very shy around humans, yet will always be in the thick of matters when it comes to tending to and protecting animals. Normally she stays in her figurative shell, nervous of judgement. When she smiles it is always genuine and warm. One of her biggest character flaws is that when is confronted with a problem, she will back away first before being pushed in to it.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Taliyah is the first in her family to inherit super powers in three generations. At first, her powers were not noticed by her family until she was five, when she had been playing in the yard alone. A bear had come from the park to play with the small child. She ended up riding on the back of the bear, giggling as she waved at her older brother. Her parents worked hard to keep her powers a secret and as soon as she finished high school, encouraged her to apply to a college for superheroes; The Academy of Supers. For the first time, she was surrounded by people like her, which is both thrilling and terrifying at once. Although she is still always ready to disappear into her shell, she remains optimistic of making friends. During her grade school and high school years, she was always a loner so she can be hesitant to make the first move.

CONSTANT COMPANION: A red squirrel named Chitter. She is always around Taliyah and acts as a companion. Very vocal, sweet, and protective, almost to the point of motherly.

This is a character can be played with the other Meta humans on my site, though she will be the shy and very quiet one of the group.

YC and Taliyah went to the same high school and although the two were not close friends, you did know each other. Secretly she always had a crush on YC, but never acted on it as she was so worried about her secret getting out. Seeing that YC goes to the same College as her, she looks for an opportunity to share her feelings. How can she risk that though when you are partnered up for the year? What if your rejection ruins the partnership of two budding Heroes?
