LIKES: Night time is where she thrives, when she is most awake and of course when her magic is most potent. It is also when the court and castle is most quiet, and she can train more easily on her own between rounds. Weapon of choice, besides the standard guard dagger, is a War Scythe that she loves to twirl around on the battlefield. The one that she has was passed down to her when Mentor Silas, a vetern Captain of the Guard who just never wanted to retire, but was too old to lead a fight anymore.  

DISLIKES: Of all enemy creatures, she cannot stand Trolls. They are big, lumbering, stupid beings who are all bulk and incredibly dim witted. If there is one title she is hoping to attain is Troll Slayer, but that can only be appointed to her when she has slain one hundred trolls and she is only at fifty-five. Vila has more than a few crushes on the male lords around the Court as well as the Captain of the Guard, but she gives a stand off attitude to everyone so that gossips won't notice her. After all, a lowly guard cannot have relationships with the higher status beings, which in the Summer Courts means the fairies. Unemployment would be the best case scenerio for her if it was thought that she was sweet on any of the Lords or even Ladies.....death being one of the worst scenerios. 

UNIQUE SKILLS: She can easily see in the dark, as most elves of the Winter Realm spend the majority of their time in the darkness and have adapted accordingly. Vila has powerful magic, the ability to nullify the magical nature of any being for about half an hour. It is limited though to three beings having magic nullified at a time and even then Vila can only use this power about twice a day. 

PERSONALITY: Vila is an ambitous elf who wishes nothing more than to prove herself against those who seek to judge her. Growing up in a seasonal court has subjected the she-Elf to the hatred people bare her for actions that she had nothing to do with, dismissing her usefulness far too easily. She works hard to throw people's expectations back in their faces. Vila is a loner by nature, often choosing to be off on her own even on her time off. Of course this is a trait developed from habitual avoidance of others. Seldom does she work well with others, but she might if she has found someone to see past her quiet nature.  

PERSONAL MOTTO: "A predator is silent and calculating... relying on a pack might determine the rate of success, so be careful in choosing to be dependent or independent?" 

GENERAL BACKGROUND: The world of Tolandra is made up four lands that are each permantely stuck in one season; spring, summer, fall and winter. Vila's family has been in the Summer Court for the past three generations, yet it is still very apparent that her family is of originally Winter orgins. The extra pale skin, light blonde hair, and green eyes that can see in the deepest dark of the night are all indicators of that hertiage. In peace times, this is not usually a problem, but there have been numerous reports of violent disputes breaking out in each kingdom. When there is so much worry and suspision revolving around loyalties, even people like Vila, who has only ever served the Summer cout, many fights have started breaking out. Accusations of spies and assainations have been increasing to the point that even the Queen has become worried that the rumors may hold truth. Vila has a choice to make. To leave for the Winter realm or to stay and prove her intentions? Well the choice is simple, Vila will not leave without a fight.
