LIKES: She secretly loves to have her body admired, even by people she dislikes as it gives her a sense of power and sexual liberty. Her favorite food is strawberries in honeyed milk, something that she can be tempted with when her Master/Mistress wants her to do something that goes against her better judgement. When spending the night outside of her Master/Mistress' household, Josephine needs to sleep beside her Master/Mistress, hiding behind the idea that it will keep him/her secure. Even though her ultimate goal is to keep her Master/Mistress safe, she lives for seeing them smile.

DISLIKES: Dislike does not even cover the anger she feels toward her Master when he/she pointedly puts him/herself in danger. Through she might rarely berate them for their foolish actions, she would show her disapproval by giving them the silent treatment for a day or two once they are out of danger. Josephine does not like being dismissed by people other than her Master/Mistress and even then it must be something important such as state affairs. Even though she will put on a brave face, she cannot handle spiders, and the bigger the spider the worse her fear.

UNIQUE SKILLS: Josephine is a skilled sword fighter, liking to use her rapier as her weapon of choice. However, that does not mean that her hands are any less deadly, as she practices the hand to hand combat style of Dim Mak or pressure point fighting. This style of fighting can also help Josephine to immobilize her Master without hurting him/her. Her hearing, smell, and strength are four times stronger than the average human.

PERSONALITY: Fiercely loyal and protective of her master, she will snap the fingers off of an unwelcome hand placed on his/her personage like toothpicks. Silent and watchful, she takes her job very seriously. Josephine is quite soft spoken, not wasting her breath on something that she deems as insignificant information. Although she wants the approval of her master, it does not out weigh his/her safety.

PERSONAL MOTTO: "I live to serve you, even if that means I have to make some of your choices for you."

GENERAL BACKGROUND: Over one thousand years ago there was once a clan of mighty warriors, who had been blessed by a Demi-god of a forgotten religion to develop enhanced senses and abilities. Unfortunately, the clan grew to be entitled and thought that they would take over the kingdom. The King of Tarma at the time was the only one to go up against the Head of the clan, in a battle that would inspire legends, the King defeated the Clan Leader. As part of the agreement between the two men, the clan would work to protect and serve individual members of the Kingdoms' noble classes. A series of generations grew to maturity devoting their lives to their Master, and it has become a major part of their cultural identity. Josephine was presented to her Master (or Mistress in some cases), when she was seven years of age. She has trained to protect and safeguard her Master. In public and even within the households of others, it is expected that Josephine wears chains. These are more symbolic than functional as they could not hold her, if she does not wish it or if her Master/Mistress orders her to break them. Although she harbors lustful and romantic feelings towards her Master/Mistress, she is aware that such a relationship is forbidden and that to break this taboo would result in her immediate dismissal.

POSSIBLE IDEAS (this was inspired by a good friend): 

 

YC is a prince or princess who is required by the Law to meet with the surrounding kingdom's Monarchs. Along the way, YC is suppose to learn how to live without the luxuries befitting royalty which will make them a better King or Queen. The only companion allowed to come with you initially will be your personal bodyguard Josephine. She wishes to protect and serve your needs, which can at times prove difficult as you two encounter all kinds of creatures and humans that will dissuade our characters from their path. Throughout the journey Josephine is warring with herself on whether she should risk sharing her feelings for YC or keeping them forever locked away. This a good story where other characters on this wix site (or my other one) can be incorporated as well.
